Like the so many music fans, Michelle Williams is excited about the possibility of a Destiny Child’s reunion.
After her surprise appearance alongside Kelly Rowland and Beyoncé at this year’s Super Bowl, the Broadway actress was happy just to be on stage with her former group members.
“When three good girlfriends are together, you’re free and you don’t care who’s around; you’re just trying to catch up and be goofy. I had a blast. People at home watching… they don’t catch the moments where, like in the Charlie’s Angels pose, I was smiling. We were all smiling. I was laughing with my girls. I don’t care what anybody else says. I don’t let it get me down. It was a beautiful thing,” Williams told Billboard.
Throughout her tenure with the popular girl group, Williams always seemed to be the victim of unexplainable backlash.
R&B singer Keyshia Cole came under fire earlier this week for her arguably mean-spirited takedown of Michelle’s halftime show performance and while her fans defended her via social media, the Fela! actress continues to dismiss all negativity.
She plans on releasing her fourth solo album sometime in the near future.
