Flight‘ is directed by renowned filmmaker Robert Zemeckis (‘Forrest Gump,’ ‘Cast Away’0 and stars the incomparable Denzel Washington in an unforgettable performance that has earned him Golden Globe, SAG and Critics’ Choice award nominations. Written by John Gatins, the film tells the story of Whip Whitaker, a commercial airline pilot who miraculously lands a plummeting airplane during a breathtaking sequence that is one of the most harrowing plane landings of all time. But despite his heroics, Whip comes under investigation and begins what may be an even more harrowing personal descent. ‘Flight’ also boasts an exceptional supporting cast including John Goodman, Don Cheadle, Kelly Reilly, Bruce Greenwood, Melissa Leo and Brian Geraghty.

Based on the novel “Cross” by James Patterson and popularized by Morgan Freeman in Kiss the Girls and Along Came a Spider, Tyler Perry takes over as Dr. Alex Cross, a homicide detective/psychologist with the Detroit Police Department in the new thriller ‘Alex Cross.’ Cross meets his match in a dangerous serial killer (Matthew Fox). The two face off in a high-stakes game of cat and mouse, but when the mission gets personal, Cross is pushed to the edge of his moral and psychological limits. With a screenplay by Marc Moss and Kerry Williamson; the film is directed by Rob Cohen. The latest installment in the Alex Cross series features Tyler Perry (‘Tyler Perry’s Good Deeds’), Matthew Fox (‘Lost’), Edward Burns (‘Man On A Ledge’), Rachel Nichols (‘Conan the Barbarian’) and Jean Reno (‘The Da Vinci Code’).

Here Comes the Boom

Kevin James (Zookeeper), Salma Hayek (Grown Ups) and Henry Winkler team up in the inspirational family comedy ‘Here Comes the Boom.’The movie delivers big laughs as Kevin James creates the character of Scott Voss, a high school biology teacher who gets into the Octagon as a mixed martial arts fighter to raise money when his school’s music program is threatened. The film also stars former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Heavyweight Champion Bas Rutten (Paul Blart:  Mall Cop). Former college wrestler Scott Voss (Kevin James) is a 42-year-old biology teacher in a failing high school. When cutbacks threaten to cancel the music program and lay off its teacher (Henry Winkler), Scott begins to raise money by moonlighting as a mixed martial arts fighter. Everyone thinks Scott is crazy – most of all the school nurse, Bella (Salma Hayek). But in his quest, as Scott becomes more and more committed to fighting for the students, he becomes a sensation that rallies the entire school.

Tyler Perry’s new musical stage play stars the infamous Mabel “Madea” Simmons.  When a judge orders Madea to do 20 hours of community service at a local retirement home, the residents and staff are not ready for Madea’s brand of “the truth”, but all is well that ends well when Madea helps the residents of Easy Rest Retirement Home realize the importance of family, love and forgiveness.
