MTV may be seeking a divorce from “Teen Mom 2.”
The reality series about four women who became pregnant in high school is shutting down production, according to The New York Post. The decision is largely due to the behavior of cast member Jenelle Evans, according to the report, who has been in legal troubles multiple times and recently tweeted a series of posts detailing her latest pregnancy, her marriage, her miscarriage as well as a demand for a divorce in a matter of months.
in the midst of her miscarriage, Evans tweeted, “And this is the end, I think. Feel light headed.”
She was later spotted with her ex-fiance at a local bar.
In addition, she made a public display of her marital troubles with husband Courtland Rogers on Twitter, writing, “You f – - king leave out of town and I might be having a miscarriage?! F – - k U, U f – - king piece of sh – t.”
The report says the producers now consider Evans to be too much a “liability” to the show to continue, although one more season of “Teen Mom 2″ has already been completed and is expected to air later this year.
That said, fans of the show don’t have to mourn just yet. Entertainment Weekly writes that MTV is still undecided on the future of the series, despite the report of its cancellation.
