Disgraced cyclist Lance Armstrong’s so-called redemption tour will not include a bow in the ballroom.

It’s not much of a surprise that the controversial athlete has been courted by the producers of “Dancing with the Stars,” who reportedly extended an offer to Armstrong to appear on the dance competition, even in the wake of his doping confessions.

He has declined.

“Lance has been offered the show each and every year since its inception. Although flattered he has passed on their generous offers,” a spokesperson for Armstrong confirms in a statement to Entertainment Weekly.

The “DWTS” stage has something of a reputation as the place where many a comebacks have been made by long-lost stars.

But apparently it still isn’t good enough for some “lost” stars.

On Wednesday, it was reported that Lindsay Lohan has rejected “massive” offers, in excess of $550,000, from ABC to appear as a contestant on “DWTS.”
