Recruitment for Lifetime’s “Army Wives” is going well.
The series has signed Brooke Shields to join the cast of the show’s seventh season, where she will play the “brash and brilliant Air Force Col. Katherine “Kat” Young, who’s a crack pilot who can hold her own in the boys club atmosphere of the military,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The article states that Kat and Holden will jockey for power on the base.
Shields, of course, has other TV series on her resume, including the likes of “Suddenly Susan” and “Lipstick Jungle.”
Other recent hires on the series include Jesse McCartney, Elle McLemore, Ashanti and Torry DeVitto. Of course, series veteran Kim Delaney announced last year that she was departing the show.
