“Teen Mom 2” star Jenelle Evans claims that her husband, Courtland Rogers, physically abused her while she is pregnant.
Evans filed four counts of assault on a female with an unborn child in North Carolina courthouse on Wednesday. All of the charges are considered misdemeanors.
In an interview with E! News, Evans’ attorney Dustin R.T. Sullivan stated that “She has taken charges out on Courtland Rogers, her husband. The charges are assault on a female with an unborn child. She made the charges today.”
Her attorney claims that the most recent assault occurred lat Monday.
“She was physically assaulted over a period of time,” Sullivan added. “She will be a victim in the case and will be represented by the State of North Carolina.”
For her part, Evans let the world know that there were marital and possible pregnancy difficulties via Twitter, writing “I am getting a divorce, ASAP. YOU F–KING LEAVE OUT OF TOWN AND I MIGHT BE HAVING A MISCARRIAGE?! F–K U, U F–KING PIECE OF S–T.”
Rogers currently faces two other criminal cases in Brunswick County: a felony and misdemeanor, according to the report.
