“Project Runway: All Stars” named the winner of its second season Thursday night, as fashion designers Uli Herzner, Emilio Sosa and Anthony Ryan Auld faced off on the runway for the glamorous title.
The final three designers were challenged to create a mini-collection in just four days and on a micro-budget of $3,000.
So, who made the final cut?
In the end, it was Anthony Ryan Auld who took the crown and wins the biggest prize ever on “Project Runway” with the chance to create a capsule collection for Nine West, a cash prize of $150,000, and an all-expenses paid trip to attend fashion weeks around the world. He will also receive a fashion spread in Marie Claire magazine and a role as Contributing Editor for one year.
Auld, a testicular cancer survivor, won three challenges during the season, and topped it off by wowing the fashion elite with his final collection at New York fashion week. The designer plans to help cancer victims through his charity, ROCKONE1, a movement to fight cancer with fashion, according to Lifetime.
The first “All Stars” season was won by Mondo Guerra.
