Bethenny Frankel to Guest Star on ABC’s ‘The Neighbors’

After conquering reality TV, creating a lucrative brand and launching her own talk show, Bethenny Frankel is taking on her next challenge: acting in a TV sitcom.

Frankel has signed on to guest star in an upcoming episode of the ABC sitcom “The Neighbors,” Entertainment Weekly reports.

The former “Real Housewives” star and Skinnygirl mogul is playing a part that shouldn’t be alien to her: a businesswoman.

In an episode titled “Mo Purses Mo Money Mo Problems,” Frankel will play a character who offers to help launch Debbie Weaver’s (Jami Gertz) handbag business.”

The soon-to-be divorced Frankel is filming the episode this week and it’s expected to air sometime this spring, likely in March or April.

Her talk show “Bethenny,” which was a success in its trial run in limited markets last fall, will be launched nationally in syndication in Fall 2013.
