Ann Romney has turned down a chance to appear on “Dancing with the Stars,” according to TMZ.

After her husband Mitt Romney lost the presidential election, Mrs. Romney was reportedly approached by ABC executives to discuss her possible participation on the dancing competition. Romney appeared in the audience of the “DWTS: All-Stars” finale last fall, where she professed to be a huge fan of the show. She was also among the guest co-hosts of “Good Morning America” during Robin Roberts’ leave of absence, so she has ties to the network.

Romney was allegedly “very interested” but ultimately decided it was not the right decision for her.

“Ann Romney was approached, but she declined. She will not be appearing on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’” her rep told the website.
