Kim Kardashian may have a reputation for being something of an attention addict, but she doesn’t plan on exploiting her baby on reality TV, according to TMZ.
While it’s true that Kardashian, 32, and her baby daddy Kanye West, 35, will film their journey into parenthood for her reality show, the “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star does not plan to feature “Baby K” on reality TV once the little one pops out.
At least that’s their story for now, with sources telling TMZ that the couple doesn’t want their offspring toddling into the family’s reality empire. They plan to keep business and family separate to “ensure real privacy.” (Does Grandmomager Kris Jenner know about this?)
Kardashian oglers will get plenty of bump-watch activity from West and Kardashian, who is 12 weeks along in the pregnancy, as the parents-to-be document the pregnancy for E!, the channel that broadcasts the Kardashians’ various reality shows.
“Kim and Kanye are an incredibly dynamic couple, and their baby news is just so exciting,” E! president Suzanne Kolb told The Hollywood Reporter of the network’s plans for “Kimye” kovergae. “Like so many Kardashian fans, we love it when this close-knit family gets even bigger. We look forward to sharing the joy as they prepare for more diapers, more bottle and without a doubt, more fabulous baby wear.”
West announced Dec. 30 during a concert in Atlantic City that he and girlfriend Kim (who is not yet divorced from Kris Humphries) were expecting a baby. The couple began dating in April 2012, after a decade-long friendship. This will be the first child for both celebs.
