UPDATE: Somebody pulled it together! The Lindsay Lohan episode of “Million Dollar Decorators” is happening and even has an airdate now. Bravo announced the Lindsay Lohan episode (which caused a stir when Lohan allegedly refused to complete filming, see below) will help ring in the New Year as part one of the two-part season finale.
Lohan’s episode, featuring the actress enlisting the help of interior designer Kathryn Ireland to help redecorate her Beverly Hills home, will air on Tuesday, January 1st, 2013 at 10/9c on Bravo.
Lindsay Lohan can’t seem to stop making trouble for herself.
Lohan booked an appearance on an upcoming episode of “Million Dollar Decorators” but, according to TMZ, she has become difficult to work with and is refusing to film the “big reveal” of her renovated home for the Bravo show.
Decorator Kathryn Ireland has been working with the “Liz & Dick” actress since earlier this year to remodel her Beverly Hills mansion, spending a reported $200,000 on the project, including the purchase of high-end furniture and other expensive decor upgrades.
The report says Lohan was initially cooperative back in March and filmed shopping segments with the designer and shot footage in the home before the renovations. After the entire remodel process was filmed, however, Lohan refused to participate in the show’s “big reveal” and film the final shot for the episode. She has reportedly stopped taking the network’s calls and has since been living in the home, which TMZ reports is now so messy it’s “completely unfilmable.”
To top it off, TMZ also claims Lohan can no longer afford the $8,000 a month rent for the four-bedroom, five-bathroom home and is struggling to make the payments each month. She has unsuccessfully tried to break the lease but remains responsible for the rent until February 2013.
Lohan’s financial situation is so desperate, her “Scary Movie 5″ co-star Charlie Sheen gave her $100,000 toward her unpaid tax debt (reported to be $233,904) after the IRS froze her assets. By the way, Sheen says Lohan hasn’t even thanked him for the bail out yet.
As for “Million Dollar Decorators,” the show will go on with producers reportedly trying to piece the footage together without Lohan. The episode is scheduled to air early next year.
