'Shameless' (Warner Bros. Home Entertainment)

Shameless

A close-knit, quick-witted and rambunctious brood, the Gallaghers have always relied on their instincts, street smarts and sense of humor to survive and stay together. Keeping them all together is Fiona (Emmy Rossum – The Phantom of the Opera), the eldest daughter who, by default, took responsibility for the family. Although Fiona fulfills the family’s main parental role, technically, the head of the misfit brood is Frank Gallagher (William H. Macy) – the clan’s working-class (but never working) patriarch who’s a lot of fun to be around – until he passes out on the floor after having way too many. In Season Two of ‘Shameless,’ it’s summertime in Chicago and each member of the Gallagher household is cooking up fresh ways to bring home the bacon. Eldest son Lip sells alcohol and pot out of an ice cream truck with next-door neighbor Kevin. Fiona and her best friend Veronica spend their nights working at a happening nightclub. With an eye on West Point, Ian continues working at the Kash and Grab convenience store, while younger siblings Debbie and Carl run a makeshift daycare center out of the Gallagher’s home. Frank, on the other hand, uses whatever works (including his toddler son Liam) to score money for his next drinking binge. Their ventures may not be moral – or even legal – but they certainly are outrageous. Between beating the heat and keeping their cool, the Gallaghers are in for one crazy summer.
