Alec Baldwin has officially checked out of “30 Rock.”
With taping finished on the soon to be departed series, the actor Tweeted one last shot of him in his character’s office. He writes, “Last day at the office for Jack …”
Baldwin has professed is love of the role and even offered to take a pay cut in order to keep the series alive on NBC.
“Waiting for the call. From the Governor. That 30 Rock isn’t over.” he wrote.
Baldwin also offered a thanks to an unexpected celebrity, revealing who he based his role of Jack Donaghy on.
“All actors have debts to other actors. Mine is to the great Gene Hackman. Without Royal Tenenbaum, there’d be no map to Jack D.”
“30 Rock” ends its seven-year run on Thursday, January 31 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
