A fourth victim is accusing the former voice of Elmo Kevin Clash of sexual abuse and has filed a lawsuit against the disgraced puppeteer.

In a new lawsuit filed in New York Federal court, a man identified only as John Doe accuses Clash of luring him to New York from Miami Beach in 1996 for the purpose of engaging in sexual activity. The man, who alleges he was 16 or 17 at the time and Clash was in his mid-thirties, says the pair had sex on multiple occasions.

He’s the fourth man to come forward and accuse Clash of having underage sex with a minor.

Third Accuser Comes Forward, Sues Ex-Elmo Puppeteer Claiming Abuse

“According to our lawsuit, Kevin Clash knowingly paid to transport a minor across state lines for the purpose of satisfying his sexual interests,” John Doe’s attorney Jeff Herman said Monday by TMZ.

The court documents also state that John Doe claims he’s “suffered tremendous emotional, mental and psychological damage as a result of the relationship.”

This latest accuser is the third alleged victim to sue Kevin Clash; the first accuser allegedly accepted a settlement and recanted his story a day after the allegations went public. He later stated that he regretted the decision.

Kevin Clash resigned as the voice of Elmo in late November after working at “Sesame Street” for 28 years.
