It must be tough to get late-night guests during the holidays because David Letterman had to “kidnap” his celebrity guest Thursday night.

Bill Murray made a dramatic arrival on “The Late Show with David Letterman” in a mysterious, hilarious gag.

A black SUV pulled up to Letterman’s studio with the actor in the back of it, his hands bound behind his back and a black hood over his head. A bunch of goons roughed him up as they dragged him into the studio and even gave a good tasering as he came through the door.

“Oh my God, Are you alright?” Dave exclaimed, as Murray made his way to the stage.

“For God’s sake, what was that all about?” Dave wondered.

“It’s nice to be back,” a breathless Murray replied.
