It is a mini “Scream” reunion on the December 6 episode of “Grey’s Anatomy” when Patrick Dempsey (Derek Shepherd) and Neve Campbell (Lizzie Shepherd) play brother and sister on the hit doctor drama.

“I haven’t seen Patrick since ‘Scream,’ so that is nearly a decade,” Campbell said in a conference call for her upcoming Lifetime Television movie “An Amish Murder,” premiering January 6, 2013. “He is a great guy.”

Neve will play Derek’s heretofore unnamed sister. He has four — all doctors. We have met older sister Nancy (Embeth Davidtz), there is older sister Kathleen, and younger sister Amelia (Caterina Scorsone), but this is our introduction to Lizzie.

“There is not a great deal I can reveal,” the former “Party of Five” star says. “Her storyline has to do with the surgery with his hand because he has had nerve damage, so she is incorporated into that story.”

Fans of the series will recall that Callie (Sara Ramirez) finally broke down and told Derek that there still might be a chance that he will be able to perform surgery again in the last episode. The conversation took place at a meeting to discuss the settlement for the plane crash.

And while Campell said it was “fun” to be around the “Grey’s” cast, she also shared that it was “terrifying.”

“Being a guest star on something is one of the scariest things you can do because everybody does know each other so well, they do have such a great history and they know how they work together,” she says. “It is like going to a school where everybody knows one other and you are stepping in for the first day. It is nerve-wracking. But everyone was great. They were very generous and welcoming. I certainly feel confident as an actor, but as an artist, you get nervous no matter what. There is always something that makes you have butterflies.”
