Mere days after a video surfaced of “Two and a Half Men” star Angus T. Jones telling fans not to watch his show and calling the CBS sitcom “filth,” the young star has reportedly decided NOT to quit the show and wants to remain for the rest of the season.

The Hollywood Reporter writes that Jones wants to honor the remainder of his contract for the comedy, but will instead exit the show at the end of the season. That said, there is no guarantee that he will return if the studio behind the series, Warner Bros. Television, decides that they don’t want him back.

Although Jones, who is 19, did apologize for his comments, in which he stated “You cannot be a true, God-fearing person and be on a television show like that,” series co-creator Chuck Lorre is said to have been “furious” at his actions.

Jones is working under a one-year contract that was inked at the end of last season and has appeared only sporadically this season with his character joining the Army. Producers, who were shocked at his attack, are reportedly mulling whether it is worth it to bring his character back at all.
