‘RHOBH’ Preview: The Lisa and Adrienne Showdown

Adrienne Maloof is in the doghouse in more ways than one in previews from Monday’s upcoming episode of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”

First up is a continuation of Adrienne and Lisa Vanderpump’s potential peace-making meeting. What Lisa is looking for is an apology from Adrienne for her “humiliating” comments at the reunion, when Adrienne claimed Lisa had sold stories about her fellow housewives. But the meeting starts out stiff and shaky, with a visibly nervous Adrienne stumbling over her words, repeatedly complimenting Lisa on how “beautiful” she looks, and pseudo apologizing for the gigantic flower display she sent over for Villa Blanca’s anniversary party. “I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings,” Adrienne says, stammering. “But at the time what I had heard had hurt my feelings so I reacted. And sometimes friends react and do stupid things. I should have come to you first and talked about it.” Lisa, all the while listening attentively for those two little words “I’m sorry,” seems unimpressed. “That’s fine,” Lisa says in her confessional. “But now she has to deliver.”

Later, all of the ladies are at a dinner party when things between Brandi Glanville and Kim Richards get real. In an attempt to seemingly once and for all squash the beef between them, Brandi extends an olive branch to Kim, confessing that she’s been in dark places in her life before and hasn’t always chosen the best coping mechanisms. She goes on to admit that she’s never judged Kim for the decisions she’s made and says she empathizes with her struggles. The outreach doesn’t necessarily have the desired effect, however, as Kim starts to break down. “That was really uncalled for,” Kim says as she wipes away tears. Adrienne, perhaps trying to add some levity to the table, immediately picks up on Kim’s outburst and shouts, “Awww, sombody’s crying. Uh oh!” Brandi, peeved by Adrienne’s lack of sympathy for Kim, interjects, “Call it out!” A confused Adrienne responds, “Call it out? What are you talking about?” “It means shut the f–k up,” Brandi retorts. Ouch.
