If you blinked, you may have missed the “announcement” during “Saturday Night Live” this weekend that the next new episode will be guest-hosted by Jamie Foxx.
Foxx — the Oscar winner (for “Ray”) who’s also one of the funniest human beings alive — will guest-host on Saturday, Dec. 8, with musical guest Ne-Yo, according to the very-quick advisory seen ever-so-briefly on the “SNL” episode Saturday (with guest-host Jeremy Renner and Maroon 5).
Foxx’s appearance on “SNL” seems to be timed to coincide — sort of — with the release later in December of his newest movie, “Django Unchained,” which is being widely hyped because Quentin Tarantino is the director.
Foxx last hosted “SNL” in January 2000.
