ABC went a little bit country this season with the debut of “Nashville” to the network’s fall schedule, now the network has decided that it likes the feeling and wants more.
The network announced that it has picked up the full season of new drama, which stars the likes of Connie Britton and Hayden Panettiere as country music stars facing the trials of fame. The soap received good reviews and now joins fellow freshamn comedy “The Neighbors” and returning drama series “Scandal” as series getting pickups.
The series now ranks among the Top 3 new TV series in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 this season, according to Nielsen.
“Nashville” airs Wednesday nights at 10:00 p.m., ET on the ABC Television Network.
