After years of partners on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” series star Cheryl Burke may now be looking for a companion away from the dance floor. Various reports surfaced today that suggest that Burke is being courted to take part in the next edition of the network’s own “The Bachelorette.”
“ABC has asked her for years to do the show, she is holding out for a big payday because she knows she would bring a lot to the show,” a source tells E! News. “She is taking a season off after this All Stars season to take a break and see about other opportunities.”
However, another source told the site that the dancer has also met with ABC on several occasions to talk about a potential reality show.
So is it happening or not?
E! reports that potential suitors shouldn’t line up at casting calls just yet.
A show source told E! News that show producers want “real people” and “don’t like the idea of taking someone from another show.”
Too bad it takes two to Tango.
