You knew it was coming, “Fringe” fans…

The end is near, as “Fringe” gets set to come to “a climactic conclusion” in the epic fight for the future.

Fox announced Friday the end date for the cult supernatural series starring Joshua Jackson, Anna Torv and John Noble: The two-hour series finale will air Friday, Jan. 18 at 8/7c on Fox.

It was announced earlier this year that the mind-bending series from the world of J.J. Abrams would conclude after this fifth and final season of 13 episodes. The two-hour series finale will also mark the show’s 100th episode.

“It has been an absolute honor to have been a part of the weird and wonderful world of ‘Fringe,’” co-creator and executive producer J.J. Abrams said in a statement. “I will always owe the cast and crew for pouring their hearts and souls into every dimension of this series. Creating the show with Bob Orci and Alex Kurtzman was a joy, but watching it evolve over the years into such an imaginative, insane and heartbreaking ride is nothing less than a thrill.”

“Fringe” airs Fridays at 9/8c on Fox.
