With the departure of Sharon Osbourne, “America’s Got Talent” is once again on the hunt for a new judge. Actually, there may be even more than one.

Simon Cowell, who is executive producer on the NBC series, reportedly has his heart set on Carmen Electra to fill a vacancy.

The New York Post writes that Cowell originally wanted to expand the judge’s panel with Electra even before the last season of the show. However, “the network said, ‘no’,” a show source told the publication.

Of course, there may be other motivations as well. In recent weeks, Cowell was photographed with the former “Baywatch” star, which drew rumors that the pair are now dating.

The report also states that neither judges Howard Stern nor Howie Mandel have been confirmed for next season so there may be even more new faces on the show.

“Howard very much wants to come back,” the source told the paper. “But he is waiting to see who else is going to be on the panel.”
