’24′ Alum Heads to ‘Dallas’

“24” actress Annie Wersching is packing her bags for “Dallas” for her latest guest gig.
She’ll have a recurring role on Season 2 of the TNT update of the prime-time soap, playing “an ambitious and sexy transportation commissioner” whose married character may become involved with John Ross and/or Christopher, according to TV Line.

Wersching is probably best known for playing FBI agent Renee Walker on Season 8 of “24.” Since she clocked out of the Fox drama in 2010, Wersching has guest starred on “NCIS,” “Rizzoli & Isles,” “Harry’s Law” and “Hawaii Five-0.” She’ll also appear on the upcoming third-season premiere of ABC’s “Body of Proof.”
Season 2 of “Dallas” premieres Jan. 28, 2013 on TNT.
