UPDATE: ‘DWTS’ All-Star Melissa Rycroft Suffers Neck Injury

UPDATE: A spokesperson for ABC issued the following statement Monday afternoon, updating Melissa Rycroft’s injury and her ability to perform on tonight’s show:

“Melissa Rycroft suffered an on-set injury during yesterday’s [Sunday's] camera-blocking rehearsal and was immediately taken to the hospital. We can confirm Melissa was diagnosed with a disc herniation at the C4-C5 level of her cervical spine. At this time, Melissa’s ability to perform in tonight’s show will be a show-time decision.”

Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars” contestant Melissa Rycroft was taken to a Los Angeles hospital Sunday afternoon after falling during rehearsals.

Rycroft, 29, reportedly suffered an injury to her head and neck while camera blocking the group dance number to be performed on tonight’s show.

“Melissa was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where she is currently being examined,” a rep for Rycroft told People. “Everyone is taking all necessary precautions at this time.” Rycroft’s husband, Tye Strickland, and her partner, Tony Dovolani, accompanied her.

“Really concerned about @MelissaRycroft….. we don’t know if we are dancing tomorrow !!!!! Please keep us in your prayers #trouper,” Dovolani Tweeted afterward.

Rycroft was released Sunday evening. It is unknown at this time if she will compete on Monday night’s performance show, where she and the seven other remaining All-Stars are schedule to perform two routines, the group number and a “guilty pleasure” dance.

Due to the third and final Presidential Debate (tonight at 9/8c), “DWTS: All-Stars” will air two one-hour performance episodes on Monday at 8/7c and Tuesday at 8/7c on ABC. There will be no elimination this week.
