Joe Biden on His ‘SNL’ Spoof: ‘So Good It Scared Me’

The morning after the Presidential Debate rematch, in which the consensus is President Obama redeemed himself and KO’d Republican nominee Mitt Romney, Obama’s wingman Joe Biden talked about the debate — as well as his face-off with Congressman Paul Ryan — on Wednesday’s morning shows.

When “Good Morning America‘s” George Stephanopoulos mentioned that Biden “took some ribbing for all the smiles,” Biden laughed again and even pointed to his own “Saturday Night Live” spoofing.

“I recommend everybody go back and find that ‘Saturday Night Live’ deal they did,” Biden said, according to USA Today. “I have to admit I laughed my head off at that guy playing me. He is so good it scared me. But I feel very good about the debate.”

The Veep also talked with “Today” after last night’s debate and weighed in with his thoughts on Obama’s performance.

He was “absolutely at the top of his game,” Biden said. During his chat with Savannah Guthrie, Biden also addressed his critics and clarified his much-buzzed about demeanor toward Congressman Ryan during their debate:

“I wasn’t laughing at him, I was laughing at some of the answers that were coming forward,” Biden said. “He’s a good man. He’s a solid guy. I like him.”
