Anderson Cooper Learns the Do’s and Don’ts of James Bond

Anderson Cooper smooth talked his way into the 007 vault for a look at the legendary James Bond on Sunday’s installment of “60 Minutes,” as the franchise celebrates its 50th anniversary since the first Bond film (“Dr. No”).

If you ever wondered what goes into making the iconic spy guy well, so freaking cool, you might be interested to know that there is, in fact, a James Bond “Do’s and Don’ts” list — a guideline created by Bond’s master, author Ian Fleming.

Among the double Oh no no’s: “no bowler hats, no monocles, no Bobby policeman… basically no cliches.”

The report, which also included interviews with star Daniel Craig and Bond producer Barbara Broccoli, also included a look at Bond’s most famous props, including Oddjob’s deadly derby from “Goldfinger”; the golden gun from “The Man With the Golden Gun”; and Jaws’ steel teeth from “Moonraker.”
