Former “House” star Lisa Edelstein is going from cranky MD’s to quirky PI’s.

She’ll guest star on the seventh episode of “Elementary,” CBS’s latest crime drama about a modern-day Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller).

Edelstein will play Heather Vanowen, the charismatic CEO of a high-end PR consulting firm, who meets Sherlock Holmes when he investigates a bombing that may have been targeted at her company, according to TV Line.

CBS’s take on Sherlock Holmes premiered last week to 13.4 million total viewers.

“Elementary” airs Thursdays at 10/9c on CBS.
