“The X Factor” now has even more heavy artillery for its battles against “American Idol” and “The Voice.”
The series has now formally added two well-known celebrities to its cast, signing Mario Lopez and Khloe Kardashian, according to TMZ. The two will serve as hosts for the singing competition, joining judges Simon Cowell, LA Reid, Britney Spears and Demi Lovato on the show beginning in November when the live performances kick in.
The duo will replace original season one host Steve Jones on the series. Jones was let go in an overhaul of the singing competition that also scrapped the likes of Paula Abdul.
FOX’s official announcement on the new faces is expected to come later this week.
