Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose has always been full of surprises and his latest is rocking the TV world: He’s headed to late night!

The special occasion will mark Axl Rose’s first live television broadcast interview in more than 20 years when he appears on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!“, it was announced Monday. He’s scheduled (and scheduled is the key word) to appear on the Wednesday, October 24th episode.

The news was confirmed on the band’s website.

The elusive, temperamental singer is a notorious no-show, however, long-known for his tendency to cancel and/or delay things like concert start times, albums (“Chinese Democracy” anyone?) and appearances (even his own Rock Hall of Fame induction), so half the fun will be tuning in to see if he actually shows up.

Beyond that, anything and everything that the odd couple of Jimmy Kimmel and Axl Rose discuss is sure to be fascinating.

As for the band, Guns N’ Roses’ upcoming gig, “Appetite for Democracy”, a 12-night span of shows at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, kicks off on Halloween, running from Oct. 31 to Nov. 24.
