“The X Factor” has its first contestant spawned from famous people.
On Tuesday night, Sophie Tweed-Simmons, the daughter of Gene Simmons and Shannon Tweed-Simmons, made her way to the San Francisco auditions.
Much like Jim Carrey’s daughter Jane on last season’s “American Idol,” 19-year-old Sophie wanted to step outside of the shadow of her father and pave her own way without his help. (But unlike Jane, Sophie was joined by her parents at the audition, despite them only discovering her intentions the day before.)
Performing “Make You Feel My Love” by Simon Cowell’s least favorite singer Adele, Sophie drew mixed reviews from the judges. Did she make it? Take a look below to hear what the judges said and find out if she’ll be advancing to Boot Camp.
