Baby buzz swarmed the season finale of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” Sunday night, from Kim preparing to freeze her eggs, Khloe’s struggle with infertility, and Kourtney debuting the latest member of the “K” Klan.
Kourtney Kardashian gave birth to Penelope Scotland Disick in the episode — the reality star’s second child with Scott Disick was delivered in July, but the baby’s birth was the highlight of the season ender — particularly the part where they showed Kourtney yanking her own baby out.
“Kourtney just loves to pull out her own little children,” Khloe said. (The eldest “K” sibling pulled the same maneuver with son Mason, now two.)
“It’s such a magical feeling to finally say hello to my baby girl,” a calm Kourtney said while holding her new daughter seconds after the delivery.
When baby Mason first meets his new sibling at the hospital, he informs all that her name is not Penelope, it’s “sister.”
The joyous occasion had an undertone of sadness, however, as the pain of Khloe’s infertility issues finally surfaced when she dissolved into tears after she learns from the fertility specialist she isn’t ovulating and begins treatments.
Meanwhile, sister Kim is taking measures to protect her own future baby-making plans by deciding to freeze her eggs, but the first stab doesn’t go so well after mom Kris Jenner accidentally stabs Kim in the finger instead of the belly while trying to inject her with hormones. And she may need it after Khloe
scares grills Kim’s boyfriend Kanye West about his thoughts on children during Kourtney’s baby shower.
