Kim Kardashian has had quite a wild year both on and off-camera. The reality star married and filed for divorce from Brooklyn Nets star Kris Humphries, launched a successful clothing line, debuted a new fragrance, started a romance with rapper Kanye West that has had tabloids buzzing, and, of course, documented it all on her hit E! show.

Even with her jam-packed schedule, Kim found time to drop by “The View” and dish on how the ups and downs of the past year have made her reevaluate her priorities. Wasting no time, host Barbara Walters asked the star about her estranged husband and how the break-up affected her.

“He was probably the first person I really broke up with,” Kardashian explained of her soon-to-be ex. “I have a hard time really breaking up with someone. I kind of wait and let them break up with me – it’s so much easier.”

Single life has led Kardashian to many new conclusions about what she holds dear in life, explaining, “I care more about the simple things. You really figure out what’s important in life. I value time more — staying home, doing nothing, cooking in – not all about the glitz and the glam of the relationship. I just really have grown up.”

The star, who was notorious for speaking publicly about her desire to become a wife and mother, was happy to answer questions about her future with new love, Kanye West.

“What about marriage? Do you want his child? Where are we?” asked Barbara Walters.

“Technically, I’m still married,” explained Kardashian. “In a perfect world, when you find someone that you really feel like is your perfect match…”

“Is he?” asked Walters.

“I think so,” responded Kardashian. “I definitely think anything I’d be in now is a permanent relationship.”

“And is this, the one that you’re in now?” asked Walters.

“I hope so. I believe so,” said Kardashian.

As for the future, Kardashian has plenty of projects lined up to keep her in the spotlight for years to come, including a role in Tyler Perry’s upcoming film “The Marriage Counselor.”

“I really see myself designing clothes and fragrance… I would never want to stop working,” said the star. While she may not stray far from the spotlight, Kardashian described having children as “my number one priority.”
