“Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Adrienne Maloof and her husband of nine years, Dr. Paul Nassif, have filed for divorce.
According to Us Weekly, Maloof and each Nassif filed separately on Tuesday, both citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of the split.
In July, Nassif, a prominent Beverly Hills plastic surgeon, filed for separation from Maloof.
Maloof released a statement at the time, saying, “I’m so sorry that this is happening, but my children are my life, and sometimes we need to do what’s best for them. It’s an unfortunate situation, but I have to have my kids’ best interest at heart.”
The two briefly reunited in July, with Maloof telling People, “We’re at that point where it’s a bump in the road, [but] we’re trying to work things out. I always like to keep a positive attitude and hope that we can resolve our differences.”
Maloof, who owns the Sacramento Kings and Las Vegas’ Palms Hotel and Casino, reportedly has an “iconclad” prenup in place to protect her family’s wealth.
The couple, who have three sons together, were often shown squabbling on the Bravo reality series, earning themselves the nickname “The Bickersons.”
Nassif is reportedly seeking joint legal and physical custody of their boys.
No word yet on how the divorce will play out on the upcoming third season of “RHOBH,” which is scheduled to return in September.
