Another famous face is heading to Hawaii.

Terrence Howard will guest star on “Hawaii Five-0” this season, says Entertainment Weekly.

He’ll appear in flashbacks to Danno’s (Scott Caan) life as a police officer in Newark, New Jersey, and their relationship is an adversarial one. Danno also won’t be getting along with previously announced guest star Ving Rhames, who’s been tapped for a “bloody” role in the same storyline, but it’s unknown if Rhames will share scenes with Howard or be featured in the same episode.

Howard’s guest appearance is set for one episode to air in October.

There’s a lot of action set for the upcoming third season of the CBS cop drama — it will also feature the arrival of Christine Lahti in a recurring role as McGarrett’s (Alex O’Loughlin) mother. And less intriguing, “5-0″ will feature the acting debut of Kendall Jenner (little sister of the Kardashian Klan).

Terrance Howard most recently appeared on TV as the Deputy DA in the “L&O” spin-off “Law & Order: Los Angeles.” He received a Best Actor Oscar nomination in 2006 for his starring role in “Hustle & Flow.”

Season 3 of “Hawaii Five-0″ premieres Monday, Sept. 24 at 10/9c on CBS.
