Ricky Martin is revising his soapy past. Appearing on Thursday’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” to promote his role in the Broadway production of “Evita,” the singer-actor yukked it up in several “General Hospital” sketches, attempting to recite lyrics from his pop songs while decked out in doctor’s scrubs and a scruffy wig alongside an equally bizarre-looking Fallon.

The spoofs were a call-back to his turn as Miguel Morez in the 1994 season of “General Hospital.”

In the first clip, Martin playfully quotes a line from his hit “Livin’ La Vida Loca.” While discussing a female “patient,” he quips, “It appears that her lips are devil red and her skin, her skin is the color of mocha.”

Next, the two discuss a woman who struck her husband with a bat. “She bang, she bang,” he says between chuckles. “She looks like a flower but she stung like a bee.” Without missing a beat, Fallon retorts, “That’s every girl in history.”

The third sketch, by far the most absurd of them all, finds Martin eating “a cup of life” (i.e. Life cereal.) Fallon procures a bag of bon bons, and you can take a look below to see what comes next (spoiler alert: he shakes them!):
