Who knew that recipes made for great lyrics?

PBS, which previously rolled out an auto-tuned remix of Mister Rogers and Bob Ross, has now added the third entry to the slate, in honor of the 100th anniversary of the birth of famed chef Julia Child.

With lyrics such as “Bring on the roasted potatoes” and “Freshness is essential” as well as the classic “bon appetit!” within the mix, the array of clips spans Child’s career as a groundbreaking television chef.

PBS is also putting on full episodes of Child’s cooking shows as well as more information about her on its site, PBS.org.

In addition, according to UPI.com, over 100 restaurants around the country will be celebrating “JC100″ on Wednesday, which is the official date of her birth, and offer commemorative dinners in Child’s honor.
