Over the past couple of seasons of “Real Housewives of New Jersey,” viewers often heard bits and pieces about Caroline Manzo’s feud with sister Dina, who appeared on two seasons of the show.
Now, Dina finally opens up (at least a little bit) about what happened between the two siblings in an episode that will air on Sunday on Bravo and, according to US Weekly, still harbors hope that they will one day fix their relationship.
“I can guarantee you two things: one, it’s going to be OK one day, we’re going to be back to normal,” Dina said of the strained relationship. “And two is as weird as things are, and I’m not gonna lie they are weird, if either one of us needed each other we would be there in a heartbeat. That’s where the family bond will never be broken.”
Caroline has stated that that the feud began when Dina charged her sister with not supporting her post-show endeavors, according to the report.
Dina did however kill speculation that Teresa Giudice was the reason the two had a falling out.
“I know this pisses people off, but Teresa had absolutely nothing to do with it,” she said. “I kind of distanced myself from everybody. So I don’t know what they’re talking about. Maybe something went on that I don’t know about.”
