A new love interest and a new bad boy are coming to “Glee” this fall.

Fox announced Monday that the Ryan Murphy dramedy has added two new cast members for Season 4 — starting with a potential new heartbreaker for … Rachel (Lea Michele). Ms. Berry will be a student of the dramatic arts in more ways than one when she lands in New York City and catches the eye of Dean Geyer, who will play Brody Weston, a handsome upperclassman who shows an interest in the new freshman on campus.

And move aside, Puckerman! You’re not the only bad boy in the halls of McKinley High … or in the Puckerman family, for that matter. Relative newcomer Jacob Artist has been cast as Puck’s (Mark Salling) younger half-brother Jake, who tries out for New Directions — but hits a sour note with the glee club thanks to his bad attitude.

“Glee” returns on its new night, Thursday, Sept. 13 at 9/8c on Fox.

As previously announced, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson have signed on to guest star in “Glee’s” adventures in New York storyline for Season 4, with SJP playing a Vogue.com editor and Hudson playing Cassandra July, Rachel’s dance teacher at NYADA.

In other Fox news, the network has renewed “MasterChef” for a fourth season. Gordan Ramsay’s culinary competition is currently airing its third season.

“We’re excited to be back for another season,” said Gordon Ramsay in a statement. “I am continually amazed by the new talent, passion and creativity of home cooks across America. The contestants raise the bar every season, and it’s an inspiration and an exciting challenge for us.”

In the biggest Fox news announced Monday at their TCA day in Beverly Hills, Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly confirmed that Mariah Carey has officially signed a deal to become a judge on “American Idol” next season. For more on that story, click here.
