The creative duds, fierce competition, and Heidi the Kluminator are back for the tenth season of “Project Runway,” which premieres tonight on Lifetime at 9/8c. And for Heidi, the big 1-0 of her sartorial TV brainchild gives her reason to reflect with pride on her accomplishments.
“Ten seasons is a milestone. It’s a long time. And even though we’ve been doing it for ten seasons I still love coming to work every season,” she revealed on the show’s blog. “I started ‘Project Runway’ from the very beginning, going around New York City trying to sell the show to networks and trying to explain what the show was all about. I’m very proud of it. It’s like it’s one of my babies. I love the show and I love what it’s become.”

Make it work.’ They just could not make it work, and in the morning they were gone. They literally packed up their bags and ran off in the middle of the night when everyone was sleeping. We just couldn’t believe it.”

The first clip reveals the first challenge of the season is the BIGGEST in the history of “Project Runway,” and yet the designers still only have 30 minutes to sketch:
As Tim Gunn observes each designer’s creation, he suddenly becomes “thoroughly confused”:
Now that the designers’ time is up, they must venture off to a star-studded event, where there are lots of flashes of light, ear-splitting screaming, and way too much “ad candy”:
