Stern Judges ‘AGT’ Hours After Dog’s Death

Reality TV judge Howard Stern had a rough day before having to appear on Tuesday night’s live quarterfinals episode of “America’s Got Talent.”

His dog died.

“We lost our precious bianca today. my sweet little girl, may you rest in peace. i love you forever,” Stern’s wife Beth revealed Tuesday in a Tweet. Devastated by the loss, Beth added, “All of your kind words are helping me through the saddest day of my life. thank you.”

The couple’s 10-year-old English bulldog, whose full name is Bianca Romijn-Stamos-O’Connell Stern (named after the couple’s friends Rebecca Romijn and her ex-husband John Stamos), was “the queen of the house.”

Before appearing on “AGT,” Stern wrote on his Twitter page, “Tough day today my friends. Thanks to all for all the kind messages. Give your dog a hug for me tonight.”

Meanwhile, several of the 12 acts remaining in the competition were dogged by underwhelming performances.
