“Around the World in 80 Plates” co-host and Food Network star Cat Cora was arrested for DUI on June 17.
Cora was cited for driving under the influence after she rear-ended another vehicle in Santa Barbara. She reportedly told police she had three beers at a local tavern before getting into her car around 6 p.m.
The 45-year-old TV chef failed a sobriety test and blew a .19 on a Breathalyzer test, more than twice the legal limit.
“I deeply regret my decision to drive that evening after my designated driver became unavailable,” Cora said in a statement to E! News. “I learned a very important lesson from this experience and take full accountability for my actions. This will never happen again.”
