With the countdown on until Thursday’s launch of his new series “Anger Management,” Charlie Sheen will showcase his favorite episodes of his last TV project, “Two and a Half Men.”
FX, which is home to “Anger Management,” is leading viewers into the premiere with a 12-hour marathon of “Two and a Half Men” programmed by none other than Sheen himself, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Of course, Sheen’s infamous departure and ousting from the series is now Hollywood lore.
“These are the memories that I take from this epic time,” Sheen said. “Not necessarily the work, but the experiences, the friendships created instantly and over time. I hope viewers share a similar feeling or two and a lot of laughs when they tune in. Who cares how it ended; when it was good, it was great. We were in the middle of something big, the return of the sitcom. We were hungry and we were winning,”
The marathon begins Thursday at 9 a.m. with the pilot and will continue until the start of “Anger Management” at 9 p.m. Programming will include episodes such as “Merry Thanksgiving,” “Back Off, Mary Poppins,” and “Gumby With a Pokey.”
