After teasing that “Real Housewives of New Jersey” stars Teresa Giudice, sister-in-law Melissa Gorga and cousin Kathy Wakile would be appearing on “The View” on Friday, and that the reality celebrities would not sit together for the interviews, family dysfunction took center stage on the episode.
“We have family issues that we need to resolve and I didn’t think that today was the appropriate time, in front of an audience and it to be done in just a few minutes,” Giudice told the daytime hosts. “To me family is the most important things and there’s things we need to discuss and go over. I’ve been watching the show week after week and seeing what my family is saying about me. It’s hurtful.”
Indeed, reports came in that after Giudice taped her portion of the interview, she immediately left because she didn’t want to “sit around and listen to what the other ladies had to say about her,” according to The Huffington Post.
Teresa acknowledged that she hadn’t spoken with them since September and would not appear in stage with them at the same time.
She later said that none of them had been asked back yet, and if she would sign the dotted line if Bravo asked her to come back, Giudice said “We’ll see.”

Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile then took their turns in front of the cameras and addressed Giudice’s refusal to sit with them.
“We found out yesterday that she didn’t want to sit with us,” said Gorga.
When asked about Giudice’s assertions that she never knew that they would be joining the show, they shot down those claims.
“I know she says that a lot in the press and she uses that as a crutch often but it’s a 100% not true,” said Gorga.
Barbara Walters questioned if they could simply kiss and make up and come up with another argument for next season when Bravo is ready to tape the show again.
“I’ve been trying to take the appropriate steps to try and reconcile,” said Wakile, who noted that her efforts had been unsuccessful.
