NBC’s taking off on the “ultimate romantic adventure” with a new season of “Love in the Wild,” premiering Tuesday night. The summer dating-adventure reality show is pretty much what you’d get if “The Bachelor” hooked up with “Fear Factor” and spawned a love child.

Dating on TV is dangerous enough, but this one throws the players into elements of actual (perceived) danger in challenges such as jumping off a cliff, facing a pit of snakes, and diving into the always drama-filled … pool parties.

This season, the pretty pairs are in for some “mind-blowing” surprises, according to host Jenny McCarthy, with the one couple that ultimately survives the “Wild” times winning a first-class trip around the world.

The two-hour Season 2 premiere of “Love in the Wild” airs Tuesday, starting at 9/8c on NBC (moving to its regular 10/9c time slot the following week).
