It pays to have friends in high places.

Comedian Louis C.K. has reportedly recruited his buddy Jerry Seinfeld to appear on Season 3 of “Louie.”

That’s according to their fellow comedian Chris Rock, anyway (who’s also guest starred on the show).

Rock dropped the casting tidbit during an interview with Hollywood.com while promoting his new film “Madagascar 3.”

The under-the-radar comedy series is a cult hit for FX, hailed by many TV critics as one of the funniest shows you’re probably not watching, and earned Louis Emmy nominations for lead actor and best writing.

While Seinfeld marks its biggest star power to date, “Louie’s” other notable guest stars in the past have included Joan Rivers, Dane Cook, Matthew Broderick and Ricky Gervais.

The new season of “Louie” premieres Thursday, June 28, at 10:30 p.m. ET on FX.
