After six scandalous seasons, “Gossip Girl” is coming to an end, as the cast begins shooting the final season this summer.

Series star Blake Lively isn’t exactly broken up about it though.

“Six years is a long time,” Lively, 24, says in an interview with Bullet magazine, sounding eager to “graduate” and move on from The CW show she likens to “high school.” “I can’t wait for the next thing,” she says. Watch the Clip Above for More.

Lively admits her portrayal of Upper Eastside princess Serena Van Der Woodsen is “not my best quality of work.”

But she also acknowledges the show put her on the Hollywood map: “It will be bittersweet when it’s all over because it gave me all of this.”

All of “this” includes film roles alongside some of Hollywood’s hottest men, including parts in
“The Town” with Ben Affleck and “Green Lantern” with Ryan Reynolds. Next up for Lively? A role in Oliver Stone’s “Savages,” which also stars John Travolta, Salma Hayek and Taylor Kitsch.
