“Celebrity Apprentice” winner Arsenio Hall is reportedly locking down the next phase of his career, and it’s a place he knows very well.
The Hollywood Reporter states that Hall is talking with CBS Television Distribution about a return to the talk show ranks, where he quickly became a household name in the 90s.
The report states that talks are still in the early stages but, if they move forward, he would reenter the scene with the same company that produced “The Arsenio Hall Show” from 1989 through 1994.
Following a resurgence in popularity with his win on NBC’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” that saw Donald Trump urge Hall to return to the hosting chair, Hall has gone on record with his flirtation with the idea. In fact, Hall told the ladies of “The View” earlier this month that it was like seeing an old girlfriend.
“You haven’t lost it and you’re still so funny, so where do you go from here?” asked Barbara Walters.
“I want a talk show again,” he answered.
