Bethenny Frankel (Bravo)

She may be a business mogul, author, reality star and upcoming talk show host, but Bethenny Frankel started at the bottom of the proverbial showbiz ladder.

Frankel stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live” to promote her new book, Skinny Dipping, as well as her upcoming daytime talk show, and jumped into a conversation with Kimmel about her past careers, one of which included a run as Kathy Hilton’s assistant.

“I’ve done the nitty gritty, I’ve been the assistant,” she told Kimmel, explaining that some of her duties included saving theater seats for the likes of producer Jerry Bruckheimer and his wife Linda.

“You’d sit in the seat and then the movie would start and then you’d get up and leave?” asked an astounded Kimmel.

“Absolutely,” she responded. “I’m never going to be in one of Jerry Bruckheimer’s movies now because of this show!”

But she admits that the hard and sometimes lowly work taught her lessons that she used to become successful.
