We’ve always considered Anderson Cooper to be one of the classier journalists around today.
But the talk-show host’s usually polite demeanor went out the window on a recent episode of “Anderson” when he featured guest Sarah Burge, a British woman referred to as the “Human Barbie.”
While trying to get to the bottom of why the Barbie Mom gave her seven-year-old daughter a voucher for plastic surgery when she turns 18 — and put her on a stripper pole (it’s good “exercise,” don’t ya know?) — while allowing her 15-year-old beauty pageant daughter to get Botox, Cooper cut her off in the middle of her flimsy explanations.
“I try to be really polite to my guests, but I just think you’re dreadful,” a disgusted Cooper said.
“I honestly don’t want to talk to you any more,” he added, “I just gotta stop.”
Cooper later released a statement via a video, says TMZ, admitting that having the publicity-seeking “Human Barbie” on to begin with was a mistake: “I regret having her on in the first place and I regret that that’s how things ended.”
